As a student how can I get involved?
TALL is always looking for student volunteers!
The TALL Quarterly (our community newsletter), takes on student reporters every year.  Our student reporters are given the opportunity to attend our educational and social events either at a discount or for free, so long as they provide a writeup for the TALLQ.
Our Student Outreach committee puts out calls for student liaisons at various librarian / library technician programs every year.  We are looking for students who are excited to get involved in the law library community and looking to learn more, while helping fellow students who share their interest.  Our student liaisons have represented TALL at networking events, acted as reporters for the TALLQ, and forwarded student questions or concerns to the Student Outreach Committee and TALL Exectutive.
I would like to pay for all my staff with one cheque. Can I do that with the new website?

Each TALL member can log into the site using their unique user name and password.  They can click the ‘join us’ link and follow the instructions.  You can select to ‘pay by cheque’ and follow the steps.   The site will email you a PDF form and you can print that out.  Please send all the forms together with a single cheque to cover the renewal of multiple memberships.

If I prefer to pay by cheque instead of credit card, where do I send the cheque?

You can send cheques to our post box at the following address:

The address should also be on your PDF receipt when you select the ‘pay by cheque’ and on the confirmation ‘thank you’ screen.

How do I join a TALL committee?

Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a new law librarian,  any member of TALL can join a TALL committee!

You can email our committee chairs to express interest, or keep an eye out on our listserv for committees that are searching for new members.
